Broadway, Tucson, 85711 (map) Agenda: (subject to change) 5:30–6:00: Networking and registration 6:00–7:00: Dinner (meeting starts at 6:30) 7:00–8:00: Program— “The Effective Use of Social Media” by Lisa Bunker. Lisa is the Social Media Librarian for the Pima County Public Library where she writes for the principle pages and trains the staff that manages the other 30+ accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. She has also been teaching social media best practices to businesses and nonprofits since 2014. Recently she has added consultation sessions for those who need less-structured help.
Lisa is also a contributing author of two books: The Lexicon (RDR Books, 2009), still the only Harry Potter encyclopedia in print, and Using Social Media to Build Library Communities (American Library Association, 2018).
